The sun hung low in the sky as he drove his car along the road toward the mountain peaks, in the distance began to get bigger has he drove, the day has started well for him and he is on his way to the air force base to discuss the reports coming from the listening stations about objects heading to earth. The air force has always watched the skies and made sure that anything coming into our orbit is traced and catalogue. So far it has always being about debris created by the space programs of most nation on earth ,over the years of rockets fired into to orbit ,spent boaster rockets and satellites and all the material launched into orbit. What is so different about these objects is the fact they have a flight path coming from outside of our solar system and they seem to be powered and heading directly to earth ,so far they have being tracking three objects and the images of these objects have being determined by a tracking stations and satellites watching the skies. He listened to the radio as he drove and he could hear the presenter discussing the issues of the day, the war still raging on the African continent and the problems that has plague the southern hemisphere of the American continent and the constant problems of the eastern Europe as the criminal enterprises take hold of power and government, and as always the middle east issues that has being ongoing for over 100years now.
Today, I found myself engulfed in the chaos of fuel scarcity while attempting to purchase petrol in Ibadan. What was supposed to be a routine task turned into a day-long ordeal, as I navigated through seemingly endless queues stretching for miles. Frustration mounted as I realized that simply waiting in line wasn't going to cut it. Resorting to the age-old networking method, I scrambled to find someone who could pull strings at the petrol station. Eventually, through connections, I managed to bypass the agonizing queue and secure the precious fuel I needed. But the experience left me pondering the deeper issue at hand: the pressing need for a sustainable solution to the recurring fuel scarcity plaguing our communities. As I reflect on today's ordeal, I'm reminded of the resilience of Nigerians in the face of adversity. Yet, I can't shake the urgency for authorities to address this systemic challenge.
